Description

The matter is simple - anyone who calls themselves a death metal fan must visit Proxima in Warsaw on August 29. The genre in its most old-school and raw version will be represented by Left to Die and Incantation.

Left to Die can be loved just for its composition. The frontman is Matt Harvey, a spiritus movens highly appreciated in the death/grind neighborhoods of Exhumed. On guitar we have Rick Rozz, who co-founded Death and wrote a large part of the material for the now cult "Leprosy", on bass we have Terry Butler - at one time also a student of Death and in Obituary... Lipa is not there, and most importantly, the repertoire presented by these veterans it's just gold. Because Left to Die is a tribute to Chuck Schuldiner, or more precisely: the earliest years of Death. At concerts, the group mainly plays material from "Scream Bloody Gore" and the already mentioned "Leprosy". I don't think we need to add that due to their experience and excellent sense of convention on stage, you will feel as if someone had teleported you to 1988.

Incantation is a death metal monolith. Virtually every fan of the genre - especially those who love its most degenerate version - will say that this is a flawless team. And yes, they didn't release anything weak, because they have a style impregnated against all weaknesses. The tireless John McEntee, head of the project from the very beginning, knows that metal death is a plague and rot. Expect a chaotic magma of riffs and slowdowns in the most knockout, usually ruthless form.
