As a rule, when they play in Poland, these are evenings of the unforgettable kind. We believe it will be the same in this case. On November 14 Ulcerate will play at Krakow's Hype Park, and they will be supported by Selbst.

Seemingly today it's very clear that death metal is still alive, but a couple of dozen years ago the condition of the genre was not so phenomenal. Fortunately, some artists still held the world standard, and Ulcerate was among that group. Since their 2007 debut, the New Zealand lineup has already made a name for itself, stemming from blowing twisted, arrangementally daring and non-conformist death metal. There are no riffs to be chanted at concerts in this music, but there is instead a full-blown entry into darkness, which means metal at 110%.

Selbst is a different end of the world (Venezuela), but a kind of exploration not so far from Ulcerate anymore. Their sinister black metal often pairs with progressive and post-metal elements.
