On May 19th, Poznań will be shrouded in a cloud of darkness generated by three bands: Ellende, Groza, and Servant. To fully experience this, we recommend a crowded presence at the 2Progi club.

Ellende is black metal entirely focused on atmospheric foundations, yet at the same time, contemporary as, literally, hell. Don't expect a cheap love letter to the '90s here, or music prolonging those ideas, composed in harmony with 21st-century standards. In addition to tremolos and haunting sadness, you will also find shoegaze passages and melancholy worthy of post-rock.

Groza, so no jokes here. In this case, the name is highly adequate to what we get, as the German ensemble charges forward and doesn't spare the listener too much. Yes, haunted guitar melodies are also important here, but it's also a knockout.

Ellende is an unconventional band. They are very intense, dripping with hatred, and at the same time, their black metal is very technically advanced and presented with great finesse.
