You're definitely waiting for them to play their immortal rendition of “Smooth Criminal” from Michael Jackson's repertoire, but they offer other good stuff besides that. In theory, they operate between alternative shades of rock and metal, although they add a lot of flavor to them. They don't lack - as indicated by the era in which they created the most monumental stuff - nu-metal's upbeat rhythms, funky looseness and convincing performance swagger.

CKY, too, are an almost iconic entity when it comes to American rock-metal in the early 21st century. Those who are familiar with the “Jackass” series and the universe around Bama Margery in general are surely familiar with them as well. They have a sense of humor (but well dosed), alt-metal punchiness and a bit of a stoner riff feel. It's hard not to like.
